Quickly making her way through the terminal, LeAnn Rimes was spotted rushing to catch a flight at the Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday night (January 4).
Giving a quick glare at snapping shutterbugs, the newly engaged country singer chatted away on her phone while clutching a thick stack of wedding magazines.
As for the trip, Miss Rimes was in the nation's capital for a small concert at a ?swearing-in event? for newly elected Republicans held at the W hotel.
Meanwhile, LeAnn was her usual busy self on Twitter - as she sent some love to her godmother by writing, "Today is my wonderful Godmother's 83rd bday! I can't wait to get off the plane and call her!!! She's the strongest woman I know. Got my strength from watching her handle the toughest of situations. (got my expensive taste from her too :)-)She's taken my family in since my mom was 19. Incredible, incredible woman! She's held all of our hands at one time or another through the lowest points and made us get up and move on! I thank God every day for her in my life! @Rendeekay & @jojofm1 can attest to this for sure! Happy Birthday Margaret!!"
